Cyberbullying in Real Life: Examples and Lessons We Can Learn

Cyberbullying in Real Life

Cyberbullying can happen to anyone who uses the internet. For example, a learner may receive insulting messages in a class group chat or find that false rumours about them are being shared online.

Another example is when someone shares another learner's embarrassing picture without permission. This can hurt the learner's feelings and damage friendships.

These examples teach us to think carefully before posting or sharing content. We should not join in bullying or spread harmful messages.

Instead, we should support the person affected, report the bullying and ask a trusted adult for help. Small acts of kindness can make the internet safer for everyone.
